Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public several court and public-record access channels, but the correct channel depends on the record. Lemhi County District Court and Magistrate Division case information starts with Idaho iCourt, while copies of filed pleadings, orders, judgments, probate documents, and traffic case materials go through the District Court Clerk. The Lemhi County Clerk/Auditor/Recorder also handles recorder functions, marriage licenses, board records, elections, and written public-records requests. The Sheriff's Office and Salmon Police feed arrests, citations, reports, and jail matters into the system, but they are not the same as the court file.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Lemhi County, the Idaho Judicial Branch, the District Court, the Magistrate Division, the clerk's office, the sheriff's office, the prosecutor, or any state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
